Citizen Kane (starring, directed by, and produced by Orsen Welles) is an American drama film of somewhat epic proportions. The film takes place in 1941 and mirrors the life of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, an extremely wealthy and influential individual at the the time. With Orsen Welles playing the main character Charles Foster Kane, the story starts out with Kane on his deathbed muttering the lone word "Rosebud" before he croaks. Confused and astonished by these last words, a team of reporters are sent on a mission to decipher what it could possibly mean. Orsen Welles then takes you on an adventure into the past, future, and back with key moments in Kane's life. This movie was and still is considered the greatest movie of all time and I can see why. The cinematography, acting, and plot in general are top notch and entertaining. There has not been a single movie since Kane that has lived up to those expectations.
